Welcome to Radiant Aging

My journey with yoga spans over five decades, weaving through continents, styles, and teachings, shaping me into the person I am today. It all began in Kenya, where I took my first steps onto the path of yoga. However, it was in South Africa, after settling there in 1967, that my true exploration began.

Introduced to the gentle Sivananda style, I found solace and strength in its embrace. As the years passed, I delved deeper, immersing myself in the teachings of BKS Iyengar, laying a solid foundation for what was to come. It was from this foundation that I embarked on my journey as a teacher of classical Hatha yoga, sharing my knowledge in various health clubs in Cape Town and through my humble home studio.

But it wasn't until 1998, when a visiting Kundalini yoga teacher from the USA crossed my path, that my practice took a transformative turn. Entranced by its power and depth, I pursued certification, becoming the first Kundalini yoga teacher in Cape Town in 1999. From that moment on, my mission became clear - to spread the light of Kundalini yoga far and wide.

In 2007, I opened the doors of Little Samadhi Karoo Retreat in the tranquil landscapes of Barrydale, Little Karoo, Western Cape. Here, amidst the beauty of nature, I hosted retreats that welcomed seekers from around the world, guiding them on journeys of self-discovery and transformation. My time at the mother ashram in New Mexico further deepened my understanding and practice of Kundalini yoga, while the study of Yin yoga added another layer of depth to my offerings.

But my quest for holistic wellness didn't stop there. A year-long training as a health coach with the Institute for Integrated Nutrition (IIN - USA) broadened my horizons, allowing me to integrate nutrition and lifestyle practices into my teachings. And so, my toolkit expanded to include the art of Kahuna massage and the fluidity of free movement, enriching the mind-body experience for myself and my students.

Dance has always been a soulful companion on my journey. From ballet to contemporary and jazz, its rhythm and expression have mirrored the ebbs and flows of my life. Infusing my teachings with the same vitality and grace, I invite my students to explore movement as a pathway to mindfulness and joy.

At the heart of it all lies a deep sense of gratitude for the gift of wellness. Through my teachings, I strive to share not only physical vitality but also inner peace, compassion, and understanding. For me, there is no greater joy than guiding others on their path towards radiant aging.

So, welcome to Radiant Aging, where every breath is an invitation to embrace the wisdom within, and every moment is an opportunity to shine brighter than ever before.
